The Flluid’s batteries power a 500-watt mid-motor capable of producing 100 Nm (73 ft lb) of torque.

Instead of chain drives, the motor uses an internal Gates carbon belt drive to turn a Shimano Alfine 8-speed geared hub. Which means never getting your hands (or pants) dirty greasing a chain ever again.
